Healthy Me
Healthy Me is a Wiltshire based fun and interactive programme for Children aged 5-18 years old who are above the healthy weight for their age, and their families.
NHS psychological therapies service (Talking Therapies) (Adults)
If you live in England, you can refer yourself to an NHS psychological therapies service (Talking Therapies).
Talking Therapies services offer NICE recommended therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), for common problems involving stress, anxiety and depression.
Podiatry
The Podiatry Service provides a comprehensive range of specialist and general clinical interventions. This includes health education and promotion and the effective triage, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of foot problems.
You can access the service following a referral from a health care professional or by completing a referral form.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) (0-18 Years)
We are a specialist NHS service providing assessment and support for children and young people up to 18 who are experiencing poor mental health.
We work with you and your family to identify your difficulties and provide the right help for you.
Continence
Wiltshire Continence Service provides adult clinical services across Wiltshire.
Our Continence Nurse Specialists and Pelvic Health Physiotherapists provide specialist clinical assessment, advice and treatment plans for patients with bladder, bowel or pelvic floor dysfunction and also continence issues. We also provide education and support to health care professionals and our patients to assist them with the promotion of continence and management of incontinence.
Physiotherapy
Wiltshire Health and Care offers Physiotherapy services to treat a range of conditions that can cause pain, stiffness, weakness, pins and needles or other symptoms. These conditions can cause difficulty with daily tasks, sleep, work, leisure or sport. Some of the conditions the WHC treats include: Pain affecting a body part such as the neck or back, Osteoarthritis, Fractures, Joint replacement, Amputees, Sports injuries and Post op rehab.

Wiltshire Children’s Services (Single Point of Access)
HCRG Care Group provide a wide range of children and young people’s services which look after physical, medical and mental health and wellbeing of children and young people up to the age of 19 years old.
They provide everything from public health nursing to specialist support for children and young people with physical, sensory or learning needs and disabilities.
Connect
Connect offers a range of support for different needs such as: drugs & alcohol, mental health, learning disability, family & friends and sexual health.
Accepting you need support can be a daunting task. Connect are there to support you to where you want to be in your life.
Hub of Hope
Hub of hope is the UK’s leading mental health support database, created to help you find the support that’s right for you. Hub of Hope is for everyone and is not just for when things become unbearable, but also for those times where you notice you are starting to struggle, or when you just need some extra support.
Hub of Hope’s database includes organisations created to support a range of specific conditions and causes that can have an impact on your mental health, e.g. menopause, LGBTQ+ support, disability, carer & family support and more. Other Referral Information
Referrals for Specialist care
You’re entitled to ask for a referral for specialist treatment on the NHS. However, you will only get the referral if your GP feels that it is clinically necessary in your case.
To request a referral for specialist treatment, you will need to see the GP you are registered with. Your GP is likely to suggest you try various tests or treatment options before a referral.
he only specialist care that can be self referred is Sexual health clinics and A&E treatment.

Referrals made by another NHS organisation
If your Referral request was sent to a hospital, you will need to contact them directly, alternatively, you can contact the ward or department that you have been referred to directly.
NHS e-Referral Tracking
If your doctor has referred you to a specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system.
You will receive a letter from us within 2 weeks giving details of how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.
To track your e-Referral you will need the following details to log into the e-Referral website:
- Your date of birth
- Reference number – this will be on the first page of your letter
- Password – this will be on the second page of your letter

Urgent Cancer Referral
If you have concerning symptoms that your GP would like to be investigated further or have a test with abnormal results, you may receive an urgent cancer referral to be seen by a specialist hospital clinician to rule out cancer.
