Patient Participation Group

Quote / Testimonial:

Welcome to the Rowden Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Put simply, our utmost aim is to ensure involvement with our patients, we want to know how we are doing and how you think we can improve.

Our PPG is a group of volunteer patients with a special interest in the surgery. We hope to give our members the opportunity to, where possible, share decision-making, help us form crucial plans, assist in our growth as a GP Surgery as well as being an advocate and representitive for patient preferences or sometimes even acting as an advocate for the surgery when appropriate.

We want to keep our communications open and constructive with our most important critics, our patients. Members of our PPG might be asked for feedback, opinions, ideas, and sometimes help, in making Rowden Surgery the very best it can be.

We want our PPG to reflect the diversity of our community, we always need new members and hope you will want to get involved no matter your age, background, culture or orientation.

Ward Jones is a retired church minister who has spent the last 17 years of full-time work heading up the Methodist Church in the West of England. He is a former part-time hospital chaplain in Swindon and Frome and was a Town Councillor before moving to Chippenham.
