NHS App
Try the NHS App. If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. You can use the NHS App to get health advice, order repeat prescriptions, manage your hospital referrals, view your GP health record and more. If you already use Patient Access you can continue to use it but you can use the NHS App as well. For more information go to www.nhs.uk/nhsapp.
New integrations with the NHS App are now live! All appointment reminders sent via Accurx will now automatically deliver to the NHS App.
Enable your NHS app notifications in order to receive app messages.
An SMS will automatically be sent if the NHS App message is not accessed within 24 hours.
What the NHS App does
- get advice about coronavirus – get information about coronavirus and find out what to do if you think you have it.
- order repeat prescriptions – see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to.
- book appointments – search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments.
- check your symptoms – search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you.
- register your organ donation decision – choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision.
- find out how the NHS uses your data – choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning.
- view parts of your GP record – including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.

Non-urgent advice: Having Problems?
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Online services allow you to:
- book, check or cancel appointments with a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional
- order repeat prescriptions
- see parts of your health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations and test results
- see communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as hospitals
How to register for Online Services
If you have not used our online services before you will need to:
- Contact the surgery by phone or in person
- Verify your identity
- Secure a username and password
- Enter SystmOnline and enter your registration details exactly as shown on the form.
- After registering, log on with your username and password.

Airmid App
Airmid allows you to:
- View your consultation notes, medical history and vaccination history
- View and add allergy/drug sensitivities
- View correspondence e.g. Referral/Discharge letters
- See communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as Hospitals
- View test results e.g. Pathology/Radiology reports
- Contribute to your medical record using information from medical devices and wearables e.g. Apple health/Google fit
- Request and manage appointments and prescriptions
How to register for the Airmid app
You can login to Airmid using your SystmOnline Username and Password if you have them. Otherwise, Airmid allows you to use your NHS Login.

- Following initial setup you can choose to authenticate your login with your biometrics such as face ID or touch ID for quick access.
Please do not submit Blood Pressure readings meant for the surgery to this app as we will not be able to see them.

Please use the ‘Proxy Access’ form below if you wish to have proxy access to SystmOnline, Airmid or NHS app on behalf of another person.
Please be aware that any patients over 14 years old need to sign this form.
Please return the form to [email protected], drop off at our Reception Desk or post to the practice.
SystmConnect
SystmConnect Online Service is now available!
– Letter requests
– Medication requests (to be used when you do not have a NHSApp/SystmOnline/Airmid account)
– Test result requests
– General admin queries such as; medical summaries, patient registration requests or online account issues.
– Sick Notes (Med3s)
– Change of address updates
The purpose of this system is to provide a more structured way for our surgery to handle patient requests. Please call 01249444343 if you wish to book an appointment. This service is not for booking appointments. Please only use this service if you are registered with our GP practice.
How do I use SystmConnect?
Select the “Access SystmConnect” button below to access the online form. Simply fill out the form and submit it, we will handle the rest! No login or account is needed, this links with the login for the NHS app as well as SystmOnline.
Do I have to use SystmConnect?
No, SystmConnect is completely optional and is intended as an alternative option for any patient who does not use SystmOnline/Airmid/NHS app or struggles to use these online services, this will also save you time as you will not have to call the surgery to make these requests.
Please do not use this service for urgent queries, response times may vary. We will be in touch, please do not call the surgery to chase up a request.
