NHS App Update

Did you know you can order and view your prescriptions in the NHS App?

The NHS app has released an update to improve the functionality and navigation for patients, under “your health” and “view and manage your prescriptions” you will find:

– Status of your requests – where you can check when your prescription was last issued, when you can order again and if your medication needs reviewing.

– Your approved prescriptions – where you can see the details of your approved prescriptions and you can now view the barcode for your prescription without the need to contact us.

– Your nominated pharmacy – where you can view and change the pharmacy where your prescriptions will be sent.

– Access services – where you can request a repeat prescription.

Some additional updates and features:

– You can now view upcoming and past GP surgery appointments as well as Hospital referrals and appointments.

– You can view your health record, this is split into the following categories to make it easier for you to find what you need: allergies, medicines, test results, consultations & events and documents (there is also a link provided to assist with medical abbreviations).

– Access 111 online for advice on who to see.

– Find health services near you.
